Select the Adjust source media to better match project or render settings check box on the Video tab of the Project Properties dialog to enable to make minor changes to your source media properties — including cropping/padding frame size or adjusting interlacing — to allow media files to work better with your project. |

An Import stereo as dual mono check box has been added to the General tab of the Preferences dialog. You can use this feature when working with two-channel source media that contains two distinct audio channels, such as an interview in which channel 1 contains the interviewer’s voice and channel 2 contains the subject’s voice. When this check box is selected, two-channel audio files will be opened as separate mono audio events on separate tracks. |
